What are the XML and RSS Buttons for

XML and RSS buttons provide the links to the file with news about Dynamic Time Management Suite site. To read news from this and other sites that support RSS news format you need a "News Aggregator" or "Newsreader" program. These programs are also called RSS readers, feed readers and feed aggregators.

By the way, what does RSS stand for? Depending of whom you ask, it is either "Rich Site Summary" or "Really Simple Syndication". Both definitions, as we believe, are true.

XML stands for the format of a RSS file. XML format may be used for any type of data, not necessary news. It even may be used to format the page that you see now.

Nevertheless, XML title for RSS buttons is more common than RSS itself. It seems that most of books, sites and articles that explained us what is XML for missed the main XML purpose. Life shows that XML is mainly for RSS after all.
