Registration dialog

When you receive your registration code in the response of you registration, enter your name and registration code in AAP Registration dialog. Registration dialog can be opened with item Register AAP from menu Help.

You should type your name exactly as you did it during the registration. To remind how you did it, your name is in email with the registration code. For your convenience you may use commas as separators while entering the registration code. After you enter your name and registration code, click OK. If you have not received your registration code yet, click Cancel please.

If you click OK, Confirmation Registration dialog appears. It is very similar to Registration dialog. Please enter your name and registration code again. It is necessary to be sure that there are no errors.

After the registration you should exit the program and start it again. If you registered successfully, you will see your name in the splash window that appears when you start AAP. Another way to see whether the registration was successful is to look at About dialog (item About A&P of menu Help). You should see your name and the registration code here.

If you don't see your name in About dialog, then you have not registered successfully. The reason most probably is a typing error. Try to register again.

To avoid the typing errors it is convenient to use the copy and past method. We will discuss this method using the registration code as example but you can use the same method for your name also. The copy and past method can be used for both Registration and Confirm Registration dialogs. To use the copy and past method follow these steps

Open in your email program the email with the registration code that you have received from us.
Select the registration code. It can be done by pressing the left mouse button and, not releasing it, dragging the mouse pointer along the registration code until all code is selected.
Copy the selected registration code into MS Windows clipboard. The details depend on your email program but most often you can copy by selecting item Copy from menu Edit. In most cases Ctrl+c key combination also works (i.e. press Ctrl key and holding it press c key, then release both).
Then start AAP or if it is running switch to it.
Open the registration dialog with item Register AAP from menu Help if it has not already been opened.
Click in the Registration Code text box of the Registration dialog
Press Ctrl+v key combination (i.e. press Ctrl key and holding it press v key, then release both). The registration code should now appear in the Registration Code text box.

Notice that after clicking OK in the Registration dialog and switching to Confirmation Registration dialog you usually need not copy registration code again before pasting it. Just click in the Registration Code text box of the Confirmation Registration dialog and press Ctrl+v.
