The activity will be restored to the root division and will have zero time part, because it is unknown, whether it is enough free time part at the moment of the restoration. The restored activity preserves the spent time history, however. After the restoring to the root directory enter the desirable time part. Than you can move the activity into the division of your choice.
If you delete a division you will see its name in "Restore an Activity" dialog also. However, it is here only to remind you the division name. There is no much sense to restore a previous division because at the time of restoration the structure of you activities could be completely different from the previous one and old division might be impossible to imbed in the new structure. Therefore a deleted division will be always restored as the activity with no time history and zero time part.
