"Last date" makes easier to distinguish between the activities that have the same name. Another feature that makes it possible to distinguish between such activities is Memo in Open Activity Item Info dialog. However, Memo is available only after the restoration.
To restore a deleted activity click on the Activity name to select it. You can also make the multiple selections holding Ctrl (for the activity by activity selection) or Shift key (for the group selection) and clicking on activities you would like to select. After selecting the activities click OK button.
The activity will be restored to the root division and will have zero time part, because it is unknown, whether it will be enough free time part at the moment of the restoration. The restored activity will preserve spent time history however. After the restoring to the root directory enter the desirable time part. Than you can move the activity into a division of your choice.
If you delete a division you will see its name in "Restore an Activity" dialog. It is there only to remind you the division name. There is no much sense to restore a previous division because at the time of the restoration the structure of you activities could be completely different from the previous one and the old division might be impossible to imbed in new structure. Therefore a deleted division will be always restored as the activity with no time history and zero time part.
Clicking Help button will open this help.
Clicking Cancel button close "Restore an Activity" dialog without the restoration.
