Setting or changing the time part of an activity

If you know what percent of your waking time you would like to spend for an activity , the simplest way to set or change time part is to click the cell in "Time Part %" column of Input Panel and than type the number.

However in many cases it may be more convenient to input the time that you would like to spend for the activity in terms of hours per day, week or month. To do so click with RIGHT mouse button in Input panel and in appeared pop-up menu select "Change Time Part" item. It opens "Adjust Time Part" dialog where you can choose in which units to set the time part. The program will remember your favorite units for each of the activity.

As you understand the sum of all time parts cannot exceed 100%. The program takes care of this. If after changing a time part the sum of all the time parts exceeds 100% "Choose how adjust time part" dialog appears. There are two choices. One option is to recalculate time parts of all activities, preserving their current time part ratios, so that their sum becomes equal 100%. Other option is to diminish time parts in some items.

If you input time part for an activity in "Adjust Time Part" dialog i.e. in terms of hours per day, week or month and it so happens that the sum of all times exceeds all available waking time you will be given the opportunity to borrow the time from other activities.
