Why could it be interesting to you?
The point is that all my software projects (more than twenty) were successful. I mean that the software worked very reliably and actually there were no need to support it. Moreover in all the cases when I had the rights to negotiate the time, the projects were finished according to their schedule. If you would like to hire me you may find further details in my resume

First I thought that it is nothing special in my results, because actually I was forced to become the software manager in 1994 to survive Russian “perestroika”, when my salary as the scientist (Ph.D to be more precise) sharply dropped from about $3,000 / month to #100 /month because of the inflation. About six years later when all our customers where incorporated and forced to use insider software instead of ours I did not believed that I could find the job as the software manager and began to work as the grass root C++ developer.
However, working as the developer I noticed to my surprise that most project are finished later then the deadline and, moreover, often they required infinite support after the deadline without any sign of the improvement.
Therefore I decided that I probably underestimate my capability and interest to the management. After all, it so happen that my own programs (where I was the sole developer) are all about the management and organization. It turned out that all my site that during five years gradually grown up to about one hundred fifty pages is mainly about the management also.
It then occurred to me that probably I am rather good software project manager and my notes about this subject might be useful to somebody.

The notes appeared as the clarification that I made for myself after found out that the answer is not obvious for my friends, coworkers, or not easily searchable in Internet.
