How to Update Your Voice ReminderFor the registered users the update is free. However, you are strongly advised to backup your data before the update. Simply export your data to a convenient folder. See Your Voice Reminder help how to export. After the successful update you may delete the exported data. Attention, in the version 1.6 the registration key has changed. If you are the registered user, please request the new password from the support page before the installation. Don't forget to indicate you name, please. If you upgrade from version 1.4 or earlier to version 1.5 or later you should first uninstall the old version. Don't forget to backup before the uninstalling. The users of version 1.2.8 should update with "shareable installer". The users of other versions are advised to update with the regular installer; however, they may use the shareable installer also. The Windows 98 users may need to download ShFolder.dll from http://www.microsoft.com. The installer will ask you to do this if ShFolder.dll is absent on your computer. ShFolder.dll is a small file (about 100 KB) and it is available for free. Search in http://www.microsoft.com for ShFolder.dll to locate ShFolder.dll download page. Follow the Microsoft instructions to install it. The users of the other supported versions of Windows do not need this file. Goof Luck!
