One Click Notes. Taking, sending and scheduling
With just one click on Your Voice Reminder icon (clock) at MS Windows taskbar you may open "Type, Record and Send" window and then type the note or record the voice message.

By clicking "Send to" button you then can transfer your "multimedia note" (i.e. text and /or voice message) to any number of Alarms / Appointments, Startup Reminders / To-do Items or Special Reminders / Tasks. You also may send the text of your note to

  • your default text editor. In MS Windows it is usually "Notepad".
  • your default word processor. Usually it is MS Word.
  • the clipboard and then past to virtually any program.
Both the text and the voice message may be sent to your default email program.

First the quick notes recording and then sending decreases the chance to forget the idea while we are trying to figure out what type of the scheduling to select or what program to type the note into. It is also handy when we have to begin taking the note in a hurry, say, during the phone conversation and then need to email it.

Since all the alarms and reminders have the same "Send to" menu, you may copy the same multimedia note to the items of the different kinds. For example you may first copy the note to the regular Startup Reminder to remind you once a day at the start up. At the day when you actually decide to do the thing, you may copy the multi-media note to the Alarm item / Appointment and set the time when the alarm appears. The alarm time will be also visible in the day view and the forthcoming events window. You may also email the text note and the voice message from the alarm and reminder settings.
