If you just record voice message it supplies default text message for the case when you are too far from your computer to hear it. Alarms as all in Your Voice Reminder are designed keeping "least action principle" in mind. Most regular values are preset and Your Voice Reminder in a way understands fuzzy human logic. For example, when you set the alarm for today there is no need to set month, day of week, or day. This is also true when you set alarm for tomorrow time and this tomorrow time has already passed today.
