You may find convenient to save this page to your computer. To do this you may use menu File /Save As in you Browser.

The instruction how to record is in the Your Voice Reminder Help. Here I would like to remind that the quality of the recording should be equal or better than in existing sample voices and that there should be native English accent. To achieve the desired quality is not difficult since to record the existing voices there were used a regular headset, a regular sound card, a regular quiet room and, naturally Your Voice Reminder itself.

When recording, imagine that you are comfortably sitting in you chair and speak to your old friend whom you love.

To send the recorded voice open Preferences in Your Voice Reminder and click "Mail this voice" button (the voice should be active, i.e. selected in Preferences.). Than type or copy e-mail address given below and send.

To send the greetings you should locate them first. After you record the greetings with Startup Reminders (Greetings are just voice messages in Startup Reminders) find the location of the folder vmssgs. If you do not changed default installation folder it should be in c:\Program Files\YVR (instead c: may be another drive if you use other drive as main). You may also use regular Windows Find program to locate vmssgs. After you locate vmssgs open it. Than select View / Details in the folder menu. You will see the list of wav files. The files that you just record should be the most new. Select View/Arrange Icons by/Modified in the folder menu. Now all just recorded files should be at the top of the folder. Check the date /time in Date Modified column. If the most recently modified files are at the bottom select View/Arrange Icons by/Modified one more time. Copy 4 top files into a separate empty folder for convenience, attach them to your e-mail and send to the e- mail address below.

To send your voice and all questions related to the recording use only e-mail address given below. I will not consider voices sent to other e- mail addresses.

I encourage you to send me a short letter before you begin to record, using the e-mail above. Just write that you are going to record. If the letter arrives before promotion is over I will accept your voice also during one week after the end of the promotion. In other words you will always have at least one week to record.

Good luck!
